Hall Of Curious Rocks: Chinsekikan
The Chinsekikan museum is located in the northwest Tokyo city of Chichibu. The word Chinsekikan in Japanese means "the hall of curious rocks". Every rock displayed here resembles natural human faces. There are 1700 types of peculiar rocks here, of these 900 resemble faces.
The rocks in this museum showcase different kinds of emotions like some cry, others laugh, some are naughty, etc. Some of the rocks represent many celebrities like Elvis, Presley and Jesus Christ. It also contains faces of characters of famous cartoons like Nemo and Mickey Mouse etc.
The museum was founded by Shozo Hayama. It took him 50 years to collect many of these peculiar and strange-looking rocks.
